Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026.
1. These terms
These terms govern your use of Camigo. By signing up you agree to them on behalf of your business. Camigo is provided to businesses only; it is not a consumer service, and consumer cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply.
2. What Camigo does
Camigo connects to your WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and email and uses AI to answer customer messages on your behalf, in a shared inbox, with the ability for you to take over any conversation. Camigo Verify sends one-time verification codes on your behalf and is billed separately, per verification.
3. Your account
- Give accurate account information and keep it current.
- You're responsible for everything done under your account, including by your staff.
- Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think they've been compromised.
4. Your responsibilities for what Camigo says
- Camigo answers using the information you give it. If that's wrong or out of date, the answers will be wrong. Keeping it current is your responsibility.
- AI can make mistakes. You should monitor your inbox, and you remain responsible to your customers for what is said on your behalf.
- You decide what Camigo may do. Don't enable capabilities — bookings, commitments, offers — you aren't prepared to honour.
- You must not use Camigo to send unlawful, misleading, harassing or unsolicited bulk messages, or in any way that breaches WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or email provider policies.
5. Camigo Verify
- Verify is billed per successful verification at the rates published on our site. Failed sends are not charged.
- You must only request verification for numbers where you have a lawful basis and the user's expectation of receiving a code.
- We apply fraud controls including country restrictions, rate limits and spend caps. We may tighten these without notice where we detect abuse, because the cost of verification fraud would otherwise fall on you.
- Verify is available for UK numbers at launch. Other countries may be enabled by agreement.
6. Third-party channels
WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, your email provider and telephone networks are run by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their policy changes, or their decision to restrict your account on their platform.
7. Fees and payment
- Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices exclude VAT, added where applicable.
- A one-off setup fee applies to new accounts and is charged on your first invoice.
- New accounts include a 7-day free trial. No payment details are required to start it, and it does not convert into a paid plan by itself — you are only charged once you choose to subscribe.
- WhatsApp's own per-conversation fees are passed through at cost, itemised separately, with no markup.
- Plans include a fair-use conversation allowance. If you consistently exceed it we will contact you to move you to a suitable plan rather than cutting off your customers.
- If payment fails we'll retry and contact you. If it stays unpaid we may suspend AI replies while keeping your inbox readable, and after a further reasonable period suspend the account.
8. Cancellation
Cancel at any time from your account. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and is not refunded pro rata. There is no cancellation fee. Setup fees are non-refundable once setup has been carried out.
9. Your data
You own your data and your customers' message content. We process it on your instructions as set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time while your account is active. After cancellation we retain it for a short grace period and then delete it. For UK GDPR you are the controller and we are the processor in respect of your customers' personal data; a data processing agreement is available on request.
10. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on Starter or Pro. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where practical. Specific service level commitments are available on Group.
11. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, business, goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of Camigo in breach of these terms, from content you supply, or from your breach of a third-party platform's policies.
13. Changes
We may improve or change Camigo. If we materially reduce the service, or materially change these terms, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email and you may cancel without penalty before it takes effect.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or is used unlawfully. Where practical we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
